FAQ
Good to know before you come
What should I bring?
Layered clothing for temperature changes, trekking shoes with good grip (waterproof boots in the rainy season), sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and water. Send us a copy of your ID in advance for the insurance.
Do I need to be fit?
The páramo sits at high altitude, so we recommend good physical condition and spending at least one day in Bogotá to acclimatise. La Serpiente Trail (2 km) and frailejón planting are family-friendly (children under supervision).
What is included?
Depending on the tour: local guide, mandatory insurance with medical assistance, traditional meals and parking. You’ll find the exact details on each experience.
Can I bring my pet?
No. To protect wildlife, pets are not allowed. Drones, campfires, single-use plastics and playing music or animal sounds on the trails are not allowed either.
What is the cancellation policy?
Penalties depend on how far in advance you cancel; justified force majeure (illness or death) carries no penalty. See all details in our Terms and Conditions.
